Who Am I?

A South Florida native, Maddy’s love of theatre started at an early age- when her parents put her in an after-school improv class because she was loud.

She began her theatre education in high school at A.W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts in West Palm Beach, FL as a Musical Theatre major, then continued on to graduate from NYU Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Drama (New Studio on Broadway) and a minor in Teacher Education.

While at Tisch, Maddy discovered a passion for playwriting- there she premiered her first play ‘Can I Just Say Something?’ virtually during COVID; and once graduated; the play had two successful NYC runs at SoHo Playhouse (Lighthouse Series 2023/ Round 1 Winner) and NY Theatre Festival (2022). She is passionate about creating female-led comedy walking the line between hyper-realism and absurdism.

Since graduating, she uses her talents as a Theatre Teacher/Private Voice Coach for children (ages 4-18) and loves to share her passion of acting & singing with the next generation! She is currently a graduate student at City College of NY pursuing her MSEd in Educational Theatre.

In her free time, you can find Maddy performing improv, indoor cycling or trying every slice of pizza in NYC.
